I'm so thrilled to learn that one of my photos was chosen as an Editor's Pick in the recent Life Framers Colours competition!
Here's what's on their website about the collection of Editor's choices...
"This compilation of 20 images represents some of the other talented photographers whose work struck us and left a mark. Each a stunning image worthy of exposure and attention…"
"When selecting for editor’s picks we’re always searching for those striking photographs that make for an unforgettable single image, whether from a broader series or not."
I adore this shot, with the bright oranges fading to deep blue at the top as night falls. Such happy memories for me, it was epic to watch this happen at the end of our first game drive on the twins' first safari in August.
Here's a snippet of the Editor's comments over on the Life Framer website...
"The image provokes the viewer to consider the colorways associated with different parts of the planet, and how some places are more recognizable than others due to their natural color palettes."
You can take a look at all of the other amazing Editor's Picks here. Mine is about halfway down ;)
