We absolutely love the family friendly events put on by So Sussex at Pippingford Park in East Sussex! We've been to Elderflower Fields and Into The Trees a few times before and they never disappoint. This year we couldn't make it to EF in spring but made sure we went to Into The Trees, the smaller (although ever-growing) sister event in the Autumn. This year with the twins being that bit older they were able to take part in a few more of the activities but the pond dipping was still a firm favourite (Priya caught her first newt!) as well as the hammering in the Woodland Tribe corner of the woods and of course "paint face"!
We loved the marble maze, creating our own paints and paintbrushes out of woodland finds, watching stories about the trees and of course, the food! We also discovered Frisbee "Golf" and the new Camera Obscura this year both of which were amazing and we got an obscura kit to make a mini version of our own at home (which we're still to do). We were so lucky with the weather too, it was such a warm sunny day with gorgeous light in the woods!!!
