Scotney is one of our local National Trust properties and one we've only visited once before but we've had a brilliant time at each day out here. The cafe is one of the good ones and the play park is a huge hit with my two, especially the ball run which K loves and the little log cabin which I love for window photos!
This time we met up with Ma & Dadaji there while Nik was working at the weekend and despite a couple of showers, we managed to stay dry and have a lovely walk and play, we even got some blue skies which we hadn't expected after a deluge when we arrived (we hid in the cafe with coffee & cake)!
We had lunch in the cafe too and my jacket potato was loaded with fillings and so tasty, they have a good selection and delicious scones! Highly recommended for a day out if you're in East Sussex or Kent :)
