Maternity Photography
So many times I've heard people say they wish they'd had photos taken of their bump, not just selfies but beautiful, professional photos documenting this time of life before baby arrives. The anticipation, the excitement and yes, sometimes the sheer exhaustion - I've been there and despite having a very tricky early pregnancy with my two, I loved my bump and adore the photos I had taken. It would be a huge regret had I not scheduled that time in for photos, there are no do-overs of the first (and possibly only) time you're pregnant. For me it meant more than my wedding, this massive life event had to be recorded professionally.
That's why I make it as easy as possible for you to have the same! My non-traditional approach is to photograph you in the comfort of your own home or on location outdoors, showing off your gorgeous pregnant body in my unique style. We only need an hour of your time and can do it with your partner/family with a more documentary approach or a solo lifestyle session as in the examples below. I even provide a simple yet stunning client wardrobe for you to choose from should you wish.
"I think being heavily pregnant, as wonderful as it is, always comes with some body insecurities and to say I was apprehensive about showing off my bump was an understatement. Saying that, I knew that in a few weeks when my bump was gone I'd desperately wish I had some photos of the amazingness of being pregnant. To secure your booking, a £150 session fee is required which covers:
Preparation: your pre-shoot questionnaire, and e-mail and phone consultations.
Session fee also includes my time capturing you and travel up to 40 mins from my base in Sussex,
a sneak peek preview within 3 days of your photo shoot and viewing of your gallery.
PRINTS AND DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS ARE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.
Typically my clients spend anything between £375 - £2500 on their artwork and products.
